1. Fishing and Canoeing at Kaufman Lake | Free!

Families have been creating memories at Kaufman Lake for over 50 years! We’ve freshly stocked sunfish, channel catfish, and you’ll find some bass swimming around too. Check out everything Kaufman has to offer here.



2. Juneteenth Celebration at Douglass Park | Free!

For 150 years, we have commemorated and celebrated the abolition of slavery. Dad and the whole family can join in a history lesson and enjoy music, food, a bounce house, and more.

3. Basketball, Tennis, and Soccer | Free!

He’s your biggest fan, your team coach, your competitive edge, and your most supportive cheerleader. Head to our many parks and indoor facilities and spend the afternoon sharing an idyllic summer day “playing ball with dad.” Search parks by feature here.

4. Sounds at Sunset Concert | Free!

Grab your dad and your lawn chairs and settle in at Toalson Park. Katie Flynn is performing so you can sit back and relax.

5. Father’s Day Celebration at Sholem Aquatic Center | Free!*

Sholem invites all dads to come spend the day at our fun-filled celebration on Father’s Day! Get prepared for a cannonball contests, half-priced rootbeer floats, a trivia bowl, and more! We’ve extended the hours to 9pm to fit in all the festivities. The best part? Fathers get in free when accompanied by a paying child! Get all the details here.
