GROWN UP AND ME PAINT

Ages 7+, Adult & Child must both register

Bring out your creativity at the Martens Center, with the ladies from Unveiled Creations. They will guide you to create beautiful canvas creations to take home. Each parent and child participant will create a canvas that will combine to make a larger picture.

WATERCOLOR: COMPOSITIONS 

Ages 16+

Learn the rules and guidelines professional artists use to make successful works of art! Students will do exercises and learn the principles of art and create their own paintings to apply and explore these principles for successful and interesting compositions in their art. This class may be repeated to continue developing skills.

A supply list of approximately $80 will print at the time of registration. There is a $35 non-refundable fee for this program.

SUMMER ART SMART KIDS

Ages 3-5 not in Kindergarten

Develop your child’s creativity, imagination, and self-expression through activities in music, creative drama, story telling, crafts, and two and three dimensional art projects. Sessions 01-02, 03-04, and 05-06 will provide different activities for participants. Requires a $35 non-refundable deposit per session. The remaining fee is due before class begins.

ANIME & MANGA: LET’S DRAW ACTION

Ages 11+  | Level: Intermediate

Add an extra punch to your art! Aspiring artists will review works of famous manga artists from many popular manga (Japanese comics) and practice the techniques that make the art so engaging. Students will create their own manga-inspired action comics with vehicles, accessories, and characters. Learn how artists work through creating an exciting and complete action sequence. Prerequisite: Anime & Manga: How To Draw Characters.

A supply list of approximately $30 will print at the time of registration.

COMICS FOR KIDS

Ages 7-11 | Level: Beginner

Explore the world of comics! Comic strips, comic books, and even manga will be our creative inspiration. Students will create characters and build stories and worlds. Learn new drawing and discovery techniques to bring your stories to life and share with others.

A supply list of around $15 will print at time of registration.

There is a $25 non-refundable fee for this program.

BEGINNING WATERCOLOR PAINTING

Ages 18+ | Level: Beginner/Intermediate

Create wonderful works of art with this exciting medium! Local illustrator Kelli Roos will guide you through all the materials and techniques. We will practice effective ways to control the watercolor paint to bring your vision to life! We will explore and create landscape and still life subjects and discover how painters will structure successful paintings.

A supply list of approximately $85 will print at the time of registration.
