Fam Mail |  Thursday, January 14 | Resident Only

Ding Dong Delivery! Champaign Park District will be making special deliveries of family fun party boxes. We have packed up boxes with games, crafts, snacks, and more! Perfect for a night in with the family. Registration required and boxes will be hand delivered to your door! Champaign and Urbana Residents only.

Cupid Grams! | Sunday, February 14 | Residents Only

What better way to show how much you care than with a special singing telegram!
You get a choice of song and can add a rose, chocolates, or both. Cupid Grams can show up at home or work, just let us know! Registration required; time slots are limited.

Champaign and Urbana residents only.

Bunny Open House | Saturday, April 3 | 9:30-11:30a | Douglass Community Center | FREE!

Hop over to Douglass Community Center to take pictures and receive candy from the Bunny. Pre-registration is required, so don’t delay, sign up today! COVID-19 guidelines will be enforced and followed.

Eggs-ploration! | Saturday, April 3 | 12-1p | Douglass Park | FREE!

Ages 0-13

Join us for a good old-fashioned egg hunt. We’re hunting in waves, with the first egg
hunt starting at noon, so don’t be late! Remember your basket for all your
goodies. Egg hunt follows the Bunny Open House. COVID-19 guidelines will be enforced and followed.

  • 12:00p | Egg Hunt for 0-1 year olds
    • (Adults are not allowed to pick up eggs)
  • 12:10p | Egg Hunt for 2-4 year olds
  • 12:20p | Egg Hunt for 5-8 year olds
  • 12:30p | Egg Hunt for 9-13 year olds

Looking for a class volunteer project or a new way to bring the family together? Join us in making a difference at one of Champaign-Urbana’s natural treasures. Help restore the beauty of the Boneyard Creek in Champaign, Urbana, and Campus-town by participating in this organized clean-up. Be on site to register at 9am. Free lunch will follow! Champaign County Town & Country Amateur Art Show | May 8-June 5

Juror’s Critique: June 5 at 10:30a | Springer Cultural Center

  • Youth | Ages: 6-17
  • Adults | Ages: 18+

Part of the fun of making art is displaying it. Budding artists and art enthusiasts are
encouraged to enter their work in this local amateur show. There will be a public critique by the juror on the last day of the show. Everyone is welcome to attend. The juror will discuss the art, point out good technique, and offer helpful suggestions to those artists wishing to refine their talent.
