ART EXHIBITION SERIES

The Springer Cultural Center hosts eight exhibitions per year. Six are professional shows for adult local and regional artists, which are determined by review of applications. Two are amateur art shows: the Champaign County Town & Country Amateur Art Show and the State Town & Country Amateur Art Show for youth and adults. Participants may enter the Champaign County Town and Country Amateur Art Show by completing an entry form. Those who win at the county show are eligible for entrance in the State Town & Country Show. For information on when the next Town & Country County show is visit champaignparks.org/art-exhibits.

For our professional shows, proposals are accepted for solo or collaborative group exhibitions on an ongoing basis. Artists are responsible for having artwork ready to hang, and for any shipping expenses/insurance while artwork is being transported to or from the Springer Cultural Center and throughout the exhibition. Artists have the opportunity to give a brief talk about their work at a reception provided by the Park District. For more information or to apply, visit champaignparks.org/art-exhibits.
