Performances & Shows

Lunch and leisure at Springer Cultural Center on Friday, Feb 8 at noon. Bach’s Lunch Concert has The Virtual Jazz Orchestra entertaining you on your lunch hour with Mark Smart. Hungry for a box lunch from Michael’s Catering? Order by Wednesday, Feb 6 and let them quiet your growling stomach! 

 

The Dance Arts program is performing at the Virginia Theatre on Feb 15 & 16. The Wayward Girl: Dance Arts Performance tells a funny gender-bending tale that features Irish, Tap, Contemporary, and Ballet dances.

 
 

 A musical twist awaits you. Freaky Friday: One Act hits the stage Feb 21-23 at the Virginia Theatre. Youth Theatre’s 5th-8th graders will sing, dance, and delight you on one freaky adventure.

 

Budding artists are invited to enter their work to the Town and County Amateur Art Show. Show off your talent and take the opportunity to join artists all over the state and a chance to win a blue ribbon right here in Champaign! Don’t miss the Entry From deadline on Feb 28.

CU Special Recreation provides inclusion services for our programs for those who need extra assistance to participate in our regular programs.

Over 50 and Fit—Get your steps in with our daily walks, cardio workouts, chair exercises, and groovin’ dance fitness! Fearless and fabulous has no age limit!

The 16th Annual Indoor Tennis Tournament is back and ready for the competition! On Feb 15-17, we’ll host Junior singles and Adults divisions. Sign up solo or with your doubles partner for some competitive fun.
