K-5th graders
Ignite your creativity as we explore the Peoria Riverfront Museum. We will spend the day in the galleries including the IHSA Peak Performance, Discovery Worlds, the Illinois River Encounter, and so much more. This museum is a must-see! Parents: due to the field trip, please do not plan to drop off later than 8:30a or pick up earlier than 4:30p. Please pack a sack lunch for your child. No peanut/nut products.

PAINT AND SNACKS – NEW!
K-5th graders
Explore your creative side as you paint your own masterpiece. We will learn about the history of art, as well as famous artists. Become an artist, and take home your masterpiece, along with a mini canvas and paint set! Please pack your child a sack lunch. No peanut/nut products.

SPRING BREAK: SPACE EDITION
K-5th graders
Wondering what to do with your kids while they’re out of school? Register for Douglass Community Center’s Spring Break: Space Edition! Participants will enjoy space-themed trips, play fun games and organized group sports, and make fun crafts! Admission for field trips is included in the registration. Parents: Due to the scheduling of various field trips, please do not drop off later than 8am or pick up earlier than 5pm. If your child is 8 years old or younger, s/he will need a booster seat for the CPD van. Please pack your child a sack lunch. No peanut/nut products.

FUN AT THE ZOO

Pack a lunch because we are hitting the road and visiting the Miller Park Zoo in Bloomington! Kids have the opportunity to see harbor seals, a Sumatran tiger, Galapagos tortoises, bald eagles, and more! Admission to the zoo is included in the price. AIKMAN WILDLIFE ADVENTURE
K-5th graders
Get ready to explore because we are hitting the road and visiting Aikman Wildlife Adventure in Arcola! Participants will take a wagon tour where they will feed and interact with over 120 animals. The tour is guided by one of the animal experts, who will educate the participants about the animals as they go along. Admission to the wildlife adventure is included in the price. Are you looking for something fun and exciting to do over Spring Break? If so, CUSR Spring Break is the perfect program for you! We will be filling our days with crafts, cooking, field trips, group games, and so much more! Please bring a sack lunch each day. Please note, CUSR is a nut-free program.

2019-2020 CUSR Parent Handbook – Fillable
To Register: The Annual Information Form (AIF) is a required form that contains extremely important participant information which is necessary for CUSR staff to plan and execute safe and enjoyable programs. Each participant needs to have this form completed about them. CUSR Participants will NOT have access to online or facility registration until we have received this completed form. Completed AIF can be mailed/dropped off to Hays Recreation Center, emailed to CUSR Receptionist – Amanda Carrington, or faxed to 217-373-7951. Once we have received the completed AIF, registration can be taken at any Champaign Park District facility and online.
CUSR Inclusion Services
Champaign-Urbana Special Recreation offers inclusion services for Champaign Park District programs. Upon an initial assessment, services that are deemed appropriate based on each individual will be provided. If needed, a one-on-one aide will work with your child.
