U14 TRAVEL SOFTBALL TEAM | NEW!

Ages 12-14

This Travel Softball team provides an opportunity for Champaign Park District players to play softball at a higher level of competition. Teams will play tournament & double header-style games, primarily against dedicated travel-softball teams. All players must attend one of the designated tryout dates/times available to participate. Players who make the team will play in organized tournaments instead of CPD’s recreation league. Games will mostly be played on weekends & within Central Illinois.

REGISTER TO TRYOUT ($0 FEE). Pre-registration NOT required but avoids long wait times.

First round pick participants will be notified if they make the team by Tuesday, August 8, 2023 via email & will have 48 hours to confirm their spots. All participants will be notified of final team picks by Friday, August 11, 2023.

YOUTH SOFTBALL CLINICS

Ages 5-11

Now’s your chance to improve your skills at the Champaign Park District’s Hitting and Fielding Clinics! These 6-week clinics focus on improving softball fundamentals. The curriculum emphasizes technique training that strengthens fielding, throwing, catching, and hitting mechanics through fun and interactive drills.
