Spring Break Camp
Mar 16– Mar 24
Wondering what to do with your kids while they’re out of school? Register for Douglass’s Spring
Break Camp! We’ll take them on a trip, play fun games, enjoy organized group sports, and make
fun crafts. Admission for field trips is included in the registration. Parents: Due to the scheduling
of various field trips, please do not drop off later than 8:30a or pick up earlier than 5p. Please
pack your child a sack lunch. Children 8 years old and under will need to bring their booster seat.
With the busy culture we live in today, we yearn for moments of quietude. Join us on a unique cultural experience of harmony, respect, purity, and tranquility at the Japan House in Urbana. Your child will explore the symmetrical patterns of the Japanese gardens with three main elements of vegetation, stone, and water. Enjoy a unique cultural event, as we sit down for a traditional Japanese tea ceremony. Participants must wear pants and bring (or wear) white socks. Parents: due to the field trip, please do not plan to drop off later than 8:30a and pick up earlier than 4:30p.
With spring just around the corner, your children will enjoy getting dirty as they explore the world of gardening. We will learn about plants and care, plant seedlings to start indoors, and enjoy some spring crafts to take home.
Looking for a spring break alternative? We’ve got you covered with a spring exploration! Throughout the week, we will be going on field trips that will delight campers, fuel their curiosity, and put a little spring in their step! Parents: due to the field trip, please do not plan to drop off later than 8:30a and pick up earlier than 4:30p.
