Champaign Park District has FOUR Special Events happening this Spring! With Egg Decorating Contest, Bunny Open House, Eggs-ploration! Indoors, and Champaign Park District Eggcellent Adventure Scavenger Hunt, there’s fun for the whole family to enjoy! Check out our upcoming Spring Special Events below and register before the deadlines to join in the fun.
Egg Decorating Contest
Ages 0-13
Get creative decorating eggs from the comfort of your home! Enter your most eggs-cellent creation in the Egg Decorating Contest and win a prize by following these steps:
- Must use a real chicken egg. No pre-bought decorated eggs.
- One submission per child, age 0-13 years old.
- All submissions must be appropriate and family-friendly.
- Submit a photo of your decorated egg (include a name card with the date in the photo) between March 26-April 1, 2021.
- Email submission to katherine.hicks@champaignparks.org. Please include each child’s first and last name, along with their home address and phone number.
- The judges’ decision of the winning egg is final. There will be only one winner.
- Winner will be announced on April 2.
- Winner can pick up their prize between 10a-12:30p on Saturday, April 3 at the Douglass Community Center.

Bunny Open House
Ages 0-13

Hop over to Douglass Community Center to take pictures and receive candy from the Bunny.
Pre-registration is required. Due to limited space, only one parent per household may register. COVID-19 guidelines will be enforced and followed.

Eggs-ploration! Indoors

Join us for a fun, indoor egg hunt! We’re hunting in waves so don’t be late. Child(ren) and only one parent per household must pre-register at champaignparks.org. No one will be able to enter the facility if they are not registered. Registration opens on March 10.

- 12:20p | 3-5 years
- 12:40p | 6-9 years
- 1:00p | 10-13 years

CPD Eggcellent Adventure
All Ages
Eggcellent Adventures is a month-long scavenger hunt take you on adventures all throughout Champaign & includes photo & video challenges, trivia, & much more with lots of opportunities to gather points & win some tubular prizes.
