At the Champaign Park District, we want you to enjoy your summer! Whether you’re working at the pool or officiating a game, we want you to gain experience, earn money, and most importantly, HAVE FUN!
1. Pool Front Desk Worker
The Front Desk Worker is responsible for collecting daily admissions during public hours and maintaining the facility at Sholem Aquatic Center.
2. Swim Lesson Instructor
The Swim Lesson Instructor is responsible for teaching swim lessons to children and adults.
The Lifeguard is responsible for providing safety to all patrons and enforcement of policies and procedures to ensure efficient operation at Sholem Aquatic Center.
4. Prairie Farm Leader
Prairie Farm Leaders assist with implementing programs and caring for animals at the Champaign Park Districts interactive farm. This position is seasonal and requires up to 35 hours/week during the summer.
5. Sports Official
The Sports Official is responsible for officiating league games and tournaments at assigned youth programs. You can begin officiating youth sports at 13 years of age.
6. Tennis Instructor
The Tennis Instructor is responsible for teaching and instructing tennis lessons to children and adults. The Tennis Instructor is responsible for performing the essential functions as outlined in the description. Tennis Instructors are part-time employees.
