We’d like to say a sincere THANK YOU to all who had any part of Taste of Champaign-Urbana this weekend! Restaurants, artists, performers, taste-testers, raffle ticket purchasers, staff and everyone in between made this festival lots of fun and a big success.

Congrats to Steven Cain, who was announced the winner of the car raffle! Enjoy your new ride and thank you for supporting our Youth Scholarship Fund.

Festival Information

Taste of CU is the area’s premiere outdoor summer festival featuring delicious menu items from CU’s best restaurants, frosty beer, diverse arts and crafts from local artists, the 3.14 mile Pie Run, and high-quality music and entertainment for the whole family – in Champaign’s beautiful West Side Park. All proceeds from the festival go towards our youth scholarship fund which provides hundreds of local youth with the opportunity to go to camp, learn to dance, take swimming lessons, play baseball, and much more!

Cash & credit accepted for purchasing Taste Tickets needed for food, alcohol, and some activities.

Pie Run (Saturday, 8/22 at 6:00 pm)

Pie Run will take you on a 3.14 mile course that starts and ends at the Taste of Champaign-Urbana in West Side Park. Along the way we’ll treat you to water and pie stops provided by your favorite local bakeries and restaurants. At the end of the race, you’ll choose to finish either “pie free” or “flying pie.” Grab your jogging shoes and bring your sweet tooth – this fun event is sure to win the hearts of runners and pie lovers alike!  More information: Summer Fitness Events
PIE RUN UPDATE (8/22): Limited spots still available! You may sign up on site using cash or check. Cost is $30 resident, $40 non-resident.

Car Raffle: Get Your Ticket to Ride!

The Champaign Parks Foundation will be holding a car raffle leading up to Taste of CU – and you could be the winner!  Winners will be able to choose from one of four beautiful cars.  Tickets are on sale now and will be sold up until the onsite drawing at Taste.  Proceeds from this raffle will go towards our youth scholarship fund which helps local youth go to camp, learn to dance, take swimming lessons, play baseball, and much more!  Get your “Ticket to Ride” and help area youth have a childhood to remember! Online ticket sales have closed, but you may buy tickets through August 19 at any Champaign Park District or Worden Martin Facility or Friday & Saturday at Taste of Champaign-Urbana.
