We’re Opening Up the Gates for Disney’s Frozen Coronation Ball!

You’re cordially invited for the crowning of Queen Elsa of Arendelle at Disney’s Frozen Coronation Ball on November 16

This philanthropic event is just in time to prepare for the next epic Disney’s Frozen adventure and should be more fun than Olaf in summer!

They’ll be magic.  They’ll be fun. And it’s only for one day!

Princess Anna said it best, “I don’t know if I’m elated or gassy but I’m somewhere in that zone!”

Register by 11/9 to join us! Here are 5 ways to have some frosty fun at Disney’s Frozen Coronation Ball:

1. There’s so much fun to be had with the cast of Disney’s Frozen Jr!

    • Get ready to Let It Go and belt your favorites with a Disney’s Frozen Sing-along
    • Dancing and spiraling in frozen fractals all around
    • Are you Team Elsa or Team Anna at the Indoor Snowball Fight?!

2. Be a part of the crowning of Queen Elsa of Arendelle!

3. All participants will receive a Disney Frozen Treasure Bag and cookies by SugarShaper, LLC!

4. Get a sneak peek at the Orpheum Children’s Science Museum’s Snow Globe experience! All participants have the option of staying an extra 2 hours to enjoy the exhibit.

Experience the Snow Globe in the Orpheum Theatre: Saturdays, Dec 7, 14, 21 1-5p

5. Those who attend the Disney’s Frozen Coronation Ball will be placed on a list to receive as many discounted tickets to Disney’s Frozen Jr as they want.

It’s agony to wait!

Tell the guards to open up the gates!!!

This event is sure to bring a Frozen twinkle in the eyes of the children and adults that register. But what’s more exciting is the chance to help our Youth Theatre Program perform at the level of their potential.  Proceeds from this event will be used to purchase new microphones!

Here are 6 ways you can help our Youth Theatre Program purchase new microphones:

1.  We will be selling crocheted ornaments from KarensCrochetStore for $10 with the option of personalizing them with a name for an additional $3 at the Disney’s Frozen Coronation Ball.

2. Attend Youth Theatre Performance – Disney’s Frozen Jr.

Anyone, and we mean ANYONE, who attends a Disney’s Frozen Jr performance dressed in a Frozen themed costume will receive a small gift.

3. Back by popular demand, we will have wooden roses to be pre-ordered for anyone who would like to purchase them – not only for actors.  Payment will be taken at the performance or arrangements can be made if unable to attend performance.

All order forms should be emailed to marcia.reynolds@champaignparks.com

4. Our Youth Theatre Director has been spending some time with Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather to create breathtaking framed Disney Princess cross stitch pieces of art! There are 2 of each Disney Princess available for silent auction during the Disney Frozen Jr performances – November 21-24.

5. Don’t let the frostbite bite with this cozy handmade Elsa & Anna blanket! We will be selling raffle tickets during the Disney Frozen Jr performances. The winner will be announced at the final performance and will not need to be in attendance to win. Tickets are 12 for $10, 6 for $5, or $1 each.

Move over, Vanna White. Youth Theatre Director, Patty Dudley, makes the perfect model for this magical raffle prize.

6. Unable to attend the Disney’s Frozen Coronation Ball or Frozen Jr performances but still want to help? Donate now!

Make sure to check us out on ciLiving on Thursday, November 7 for more information!
