Guidelines:

CPD Outdoor Basketball, Volleyball and GAGA Court Rules:

  • Stay home if you are sick
  • Practice social distancing
  • Wash or sanitize your hands before and after use
  • Encouraged to wear a face covering when within 6ft of others
  • Outdoor sport surfaces are not sanitized and users play at their own risk

CPD Outdoor Playground Rules:

  • Stay home if you are sick
  • Practice social distancing
  • Wash or sanitize your hands before and after use
  • Encouraged to wear a face covering when within 6ft of others
  • No more than 50 users at a time

CPD Sport Fields

If you would like to rent a sports field for practices and drills only (no games), email misty.stocking@champaignparks.org.

Individual community members using the fields for non-organized practices must adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Practices and drills only, no games
  • Activities must maintain social distancing of 6 ft (or 10 feet for stations) for non-household individuals
  • Face coverings must be worn when 6 ft distance cannot be maintained with non-household members
  • Use hand sanitizer regularly, especially before and after play and set up temporary hand washing stations if possible
  • Use personal equipment when possible or use pre-mixed disinfectant on equipment between use of non-household individuals including balls, mitts, bats, catcher’s equipment, etc.
  • Individuals must supply own water, water fountains will not be available
  • Group sizes limited to 10 or less per every one adult
  • Participants should place personal belongings at least 6ft away from others’ personal belongings
  • Groups of 10 participants must be 30 feet apart and not interact with each other
  • No congregating before, during, or after practice
  •  Individuals showing symptoms should stay home. See CDC website for list of common COVID-19 symptoms
